Perfect Paws Rescue Group has an all-volunteer staff and we depend entirely on private donations from people like you to keep our doors open and allow us to save as many pets as possible - like the precious little kitten pictured here.

We usually spend more on each pet than the amount of the Adoption Fee we charged, so donations of all types are very important to us.

Medical expenses alone can cost $500 - or much more - per animal. Therefore, we would very much appreciate your support. You can contribute in a number of ways that are detailed below - and we hope you can find it in your heart to help out however you can!

Volunteer Your Time or Expertise

We need volunteers! Without them, we would not be able to continue to rescue pets. Even if you can only volunteer for an hour or two, or only one day a week, we'd be very grateful for your help.

We need volunteers to help us with many different aspects of rescuing - playing with the kittens; petting and giving love to all the pets; feeding the pets; cleaning litter boxes, cages and pens; walking the small breed dogs or throwing a ball for them so they can run and get their exercise; helping in the office by typing, checking references on Adoption Applications ... the possibilities are endless!

If you are a whiz at filing, can type 90WPM or even if you have a special gift that enables you to calm and comfort frightened pets, we could certainly use your expertise!

Become a Foster Home

Help us save these precious babies from the streets and kill shelters. The more foster homes we have available, the more cats and kittens we can save.

Fostering has so many rewards. You can see babies grow into playful, loving kittens, knowing you had a part in saving their lives!

Offering your home and time to foster our pets means that you get to be a part of the adoption process. Because you give so much of yourself for your fosters, you can meet and help approve of potential families so you will know exactly where your fosters go. Sure it's hard to let them go, but knowing where they are and who adopted them makes the transition easier. It's great to make that perfect match between pet and family which may not have happened if the animals hadn't been saved from the street and fostered by you.

We are always in need of many supplies to keep our rescue running and care for all the pets currently in residence. Following is a list of items that we never seem to have enough of - so we would be very grateful if you could donate any of these desperately needed items.

Or if you own a business or work for one that would be willing to help us out, we often need services such as a printer to print up our business cards. Or if you own an SUV, van or station wagon and can help transport pets we pull from shelters to our rescue, or transfer waiting pets to a Foster Home, this is a much needed service.

Services We Offer For Your Existing Pets

This is a great way to contribute to Perfect Paws if you already have pets at home. We charge a small fee for these valuable services that benefit both you and your pets - and every penny goes directly to our rescue animals.

We offer the following useful services to the public at our Mobile Adoption Events.

Microchipping - Bring by your own dog, cat or kitten and we will microchip them for you. Microchipping is an excellent way to identify your pet if it runs away or gets lost. Pets with microchips have a much better chance of being reunited with their owners. And isn't it better to be safe than sorry?

Soft Paws Nail Caps - Bring us your indoor only kittens and cats and we will apply these Soft Paws Nail Caps on them for you. These plastic nail caps are a clever, low cost alternative to the inhumane practice of declawing and solve the same problems - in colorful style!
