My Favourite Angels

Legend has it that when someone sobs,
Their tears are caught by butterflies and carried up to heaven.
Angels then float down as teardrops of comfort
to take away the sadness.

Today I adopted an angel!
We ALL need someone ...
And there is no one more special than an angel -
So here is one to share with all my friends
To let you know I am Thinking of You Today!

Angels are the guardians of hope and wonder,
The keepers of magic and dreams.
Wherever there is love,
An angel is flying by.
Your guardian angel knows you inside and out
And loves you just the way you are.
Remember to leave space in your relationships
So the angels have room to play.
Whenever you feel lonely
A special angel drops in for tea.
Angels are with you every step of the way
And help you soar with amazing grace,
After all, we are all angels in training -
All we have to do is spread our wings!

Do not search for us, we will find you.
Do not wait for us, we are here already.
Do not whisper your name, we know it well.
We have loved you forever, time wil tell ...
We are your Guardian Angels.

Silently one by one,
in the infinite meadows of heaven,
blossomed the lovely stars,
the forget-me-nots of angels.

We are each of us angels with only one wing,
and we can only fly by embracing one another.

If you seek an angel with an open heart
You shall find one
Where there is hope
There is an angel nearby
Open your heart to love and you shall hear

I can't tell a soul I love you
Though my heart begs me to.
Every romantic song reminds me of you,
And every time I see a couple hand in hand
I wish they were you and me.
Sometimes I write your name
and stare at it wistfully
As I imagine how it could have been ...
But I can't tell a soul I love you.
I can't even tell you
I wrote a poem about you,
Trying to explain my emotions
But the words were not enough.
I couldn't explain how strongly I feel
I couldn't describe
The volatile mix of joy and pain,
Because I can't tell a soul ...
I love you

There are angels among us,
one for me and one for you.
God sent them to watch over us,
our whole lives through.

I knew that when I met you,
I saw a certain spark.
you appeared before me,
when the world seemed so dark.

God must have had me in mind
when he made you.
He knew I would need guidance,
and a helping hand or two.

Someone to pick me up,
when I stumble and fall,
when the world seems so horrible
and not worth living at all.

I have certainly had my days
when I needed your hand.
I thank God for sending you to me,
and for including me in His plan.

If angels need comfort,
the way I sometimes do,
please think of me,
and I will reach out my hand
and offer comfort to you.

Watch o'er me little one
Keep me safe from harm
Bless my family and my friends
With your gentle charm

Unless you can love, as the angels may,
With the breadth of heaven betwixt you,

Through behoving and unbeloving,
