Pet Paws Featured Pup!

Meet our Featured Pet!

Gus is a wonderful boy. He is very unsure of humans and has obviously not been treated very well by them. He is scared and non-trusting. This little guy has so much love to give and just needs a loving family who will love, spoil and help him understand that not all humans are bad. He wants so desperately to come to you and be loved and petted but he is still too afraid he will be scolded or worse. Gus is about a year old, neutered, current on all his shots and has been treated with both heartworm and flea & tick preventative. He came to us from a wonderful lady who picked him up wandering down a country road. It was on one of those 90+ degree days and Gus was panting furiously. This nice lady took him home, gave him food and water and called us to help find this precious guy a permanent loving home. Gus is about 20 inches at the shoulder, only weighs about 18 pounds and he is full grown. If you are looking for a lifelong playmate who is loving, loyal and devoted, please call 260-341-5229, e-mail or fill out our online Adoption Form if you would like to adopt Gus or any of our Adorable Adoptables!!

If They Could See Me Now!

Meet Bandit, now Gipper!

Dear Tammy,

You know me as Bandit, but now my name is Gipper - and I already know and come to my name. I'm having a lot of fun at my new home. There are so many toys to play with and I sleep on a feather pillow! I like it so much. I love my brother and sister, but my sister is jealous of me. She thinks that she owns mommy and everything else around here, but today she tried to play with me when she thought no one was looking. My brother Rudy helped teach me how to walk on a leash yesterday and then I got to go for lots of walks. I even made mommy take me for a walk at 3:30 this morning. Walking is fun!

I made friends with Katie the Yorkie that lives next door. We rubbed noses thru the fence.

I am being a very good boy and am so happy. Yesterday I got to play with Jack, mommy's nephew. He gave me lots of kisses so I gave him kisses too. I really like to give kisses. I also got a charm for my collar from my new grandma and grandpa. It says Go Irish. Daddy says when I'm bigger I get to get a Notre Dame collar and leash like Rudy and mommy is making me and Rudy Notre Dame bandanas and t-shirts.

I will send you some pictures of me real soon.

Next Saturday I have to go to the vet just for a check up. Mommy says it's just best to go and get to know my new doctor.

I hope all of my friends there are being good and I hope they all find someone to love them like I did.

Thank you for letting me come live here. I am very happy and feel very loved.

Love, Gipper
P.S. Go Irish!

These are the happy endings that we strive to obtain. Pet Paws believes that every puppy, dog, kitten, or cat should have this kind of life and be as lucky as Bandit is. All pets, whether purebred or a mixed breed, deserve to be saved!
